Jonathan Sanchez was born and raised in Kāneʻohe and Kahaluʻu, and has more than 17 years in the trade. Emerald Painting is his family-run company.

Emerald Painting LLC is a locally owned and operated residential and commercial painting contractor proudly serving Hawaiʻi. With more than 15 years of industry experience, we have built our reputation on quality workmanship, dependable service, and lasting relationships with our clients.

Our services include interior and exterior painting, pressure washing, waterproof coatings, surface preparation, wood rot repair, and general repair services. From preparation through final completion, our team is committed to delivering quality results with attention to every detail.

Jonathan Sanchez

Owner & Estimator

Jonathan Sanchez is the Owner and Estimator of Emerald Painting LLC. Born and raised in Kāneʻohe/Kahaluʻu, Jonathan is a licensed C-33 Painting and Decorating Contractor with more than 17 years of experience in Hawaiʻi’s commercial and residential painting industry. He founded Emerald Painting after working his way up from apprentice to journeyman, foreman, and field supervisor, building the company into a trusted team serving residential, commercial, and AOAO/HOA clients across Oʻahu.
Jonathan enjoys building lasting relationships with clients, helping his employees grow, and creating opportunities for his team to succeed. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, playing poker with friends, and barbecuing at the beach or at home.
Fun fact: Jon’s family and close friends know him by the nickname “Dukie.”
Casey Kimura

Project Manager

Casey Kimura is a Project Manager at Emerald Painting and has been a valued member of the team for the past three years. Born and raised in Kāneʻohe, Casey brings a diverse background in club and venue operations, event coordination, sound and lighting, and HVAC, giving him a well-rounded approach to project management.
Casey enjoys working closely with clients to bring their vision to life and takes pride in delivering a smooth, high-quality experience from start to finish. Outside of work, you’ll often find him golfing, fishing, or off-roading around the island.
Fun fact: Casey is a proud goldendoodle dad.
Justine Medeiros

Office Manager

Justine Medeiros is the Office Manager at Emerald Painting. Born and raised in Kailua, she brings over 20 years of professional experience, including more than six years supporting commercial and federal construction projects. Her background includes project coordination, operations, HR benefits administration, account management, and client relations.
Justine enjoys creating efficient systems, supporting the team, and helping ensure every client has a positive experience from start to finish. Outside of work, Justine enjoys spending quality time with her three children, cooking, crafting, planning parties and special events, and taking her XL Bully, Piʻilani, on walks.
Fun fact: Justine played the clarinet for 10 years and was first chair in high school.
Guy Kane

Field Superintendent

Guy Kane is the Field Superintendent at Emerald Painting and has been a valued member of the team for the past seven years. Born and raised in Waiāhole Valley on Oʻahu, Guy brings more than 27 years of experience in the trades, including roofing, masonry, tile, renovations, landscaping and maintenance, farming, and painting. His extensive hands-on experience and commitment to quality make him a valuable leader in the field.
Guy enjoys the challenge of keeping projects on schedule and within budget while ensuring every customer is satisfied with the finished product. Outside of work, he enjoys relaxing and spending quality time with his wife, six grandchildren, and his dog, Brutus.
Fun fact: Guy’s son and brother are also part of the Emerald Painting team.
